Speciality Areas We Provide For You

Unique and Collectible Antiques

  •           Lead crystal pitches, vases, candy dishes, etc.
  •           Amber, blue, and green antique and vintage figurines, vases, relish dishes, etc.
  •           Unique items that we do not use today, example:  bed warmer, candle sniffers
  •           Unique and creative tools, example:  hand saws, hand trimming tools, measuring devices

The antiques we feature are interesting collectibles and have beautiful designs.  For example,  in covered antique candy dishes, vases, and pitchers, we have amber, blue, and green glasses figurines, vases, and relish dishes, along with lead crystal items.  The tools used in the days of our ancesters were unique when compared to our modern technology of today.  We plan to do the homework for you by finding items you find interesting and want to purchase for yourself.   We do this through estate sales, flea markets, going out of business sales, yard sales, and we check the newspapers for auctions.  We try to do the leg work for you.  Especially when you let us know your specific interests.

Our mothers peaked our interests in antiques with their love of crystal, unque and beautifully crafted old fashioned lampes, tables, and small furniture, and vintage novelty items.  The history behind these antiques and collectibles is impressive.  To imagine the workmanship involved in craving, blowing, burning, or making what they did with the equipment available to them during that era is amazing.

Something we plan to add soon is unique and homemade wooden toys, whether antique or made by today's technology.

The music of the 50's, 60's, and 70's is music which brings back memories we wiill never forget and will always cherish.   As a first grader in 1950, I had to listen to my mother's country music, my father's classical and easy listening, and then my own faster and more modern (during that time frame) music, swing, rock and roll.

We can remember when Elvis Presley came into the lime light.  Even when teenagers, including myself, wore our collars up, long tight skirts with bobby socks, long pony tails, then switched to bobs, then curly hair.  The guys had greasy slicked back hair with long sideburns, and wore all black.  The Twist, The Poney, The Shag, The Bop, The Jitter Bug, The Cha Cha, etc. were the dances of our teens; which also kept us slim and trim, much different than today.

What better than to associate ourself with than the era we grew up in and enjoyed.  The first things we decided to sell were our 45 and 33 1/3 records from the 50's through 70's.  We thoroughly enjoy watching the movies about Elvis, Bobby Rydell, Ritchie Valence, Ray Charles, The Do Wop Days, Ricky Nelson, Loretta Lynn, Johnny Cash, Tammy Wynett and George Jones, to mention a few.   Our music will live on for centuries and we want to provide an opportunity for others like yourself to also enjoy it and to purchase your favorites or ones you have not heard before.

Books/novels:  thrillers, mysteries, children and self-help books (which can be reviewed and purchased on eBay Store - Treasures and Training 4U.

  • Mysteries, thrillers, suspense novels
  • Novels by popular authors:  John Grisham, James Patterson, Stuart Woods, Tom Clancy, Koontz, Collins, etc.
  • Self-help books on:  Communications, well-being, motivation, exercise, to name a few
  • Children's books:  Story books, beginners books,

The mysteries and thrillers we have enjoyed the most were written by John Grisham, James Patterson, and Stuart Woods.   When I start reading their books, I had trouble putting them down.  They are exciting and kept me on the edge of my chair, just waiting to see what happened next.  I've read several novels by other authors, yet they have not impressed me as those three have.  I encourage you to try one of their novels and see for yourself what I mean.

The children's books (first books through toddlers) and self-help books we found interesting and of helpful in developing our training seminars and doing public speaking on topics such as Effective Oral Communication (with family, friends, socially, at work with co-workers and supervisors/managers.)
